Our Story

Smokin' B's Smoked Cheese began in April 2022 with a simple passion: to create the best-tasting smoked cheese! Our journey wasn't without its challenges. After experiencing numerous trial and error batches, and conducting a ton of research, we realized the key to our unique flavor blend was the custom smoker we built using an apple blend wood.​
We began sharing our smoked cheese with friends and family, initially at our local campground. The overwhelmingly positive response encouraged us to pursue this passion further. We then built a state-inspected commercial kitchen right at home, allowing us to produce our cheese on a larger scale while completing all necessary food regulations to ensure the safety of our customers are met.​

Starting at the Hillsdale Farmers Market, we’ve gradually expanded our reach, now supplying our smoked cheese to local grocery stores and participating in numerous Farmers Markets and Festivals throughout the region. Our sons and granddaughter proudly assist us at many of these events, while we continue to oversee the cheese-smoking process in our home kitchen.
